Tanya endured a childhood that included tremendous sexual, physical, mental and spiritual abuse at the hands of many.           

The scars that were left upon her body and soul threatened to destroy her from within.  The only identity that she held was that which had been given to her by those that had rejected, abused and mistreated her.   

Tanya married very young and the beginning years of her marriage were difficult to say the least.  Communication, intimacy and trust are three foundations of marriage which she had no ability to partake of.  It is only by the Grace of God that her marriage survived. 

There is no reason apart from the LORD'S faithfulness,love, mercy and grace that she should even be alive.  He has brought tremendous healing, restoration and redemption to every area of her life.  He has revealed to her the joy and satisfaction that comes from truly seeking Him to simply know Him.  Her life apart from Him had offered her nothing but brokenness however, because of His love, she stands before Him now  healed and filled with joy unspeakable. 

Tanya is so very thankful for Psalm 27:10 which states — When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take care of me.
